King`s Bowl Chinese Restaurant in San Antonio

When they say generous portions, they really mean it. The dinner option gives you a large amount of large portions of good quality tempura chicken or (or other meat) in a nice and thick sauce of whatever type you choose. The restaurant itself is very nice and clean, and the owners are very kind. And for how much and what you get, it's pretty cheap! I love it.

The restaurant looks as the food tastes. Extremely poor quality food. Had items in the dish that did not belong to my meal. Very poor Mongolian dish and the appetizers were poor. And the sweet and sour soup was very thick and extremely sour. Will not eat at this establishment in the near future.

I have been going to this restaurant for 23 years! Me and my family love it. The owner is so nice and always welcoming. The food is delicious. By far the best Chinese I’ve ever had.

The food was pretty good and the portion size was large which was nice for the price. I got the dinner orange chicken with fried rice, crab Rangoon, and egg drop soup. My boyfriend got the house fried rice and egg rolls. We’re definitely going to get food from here again.

Been patrons for decades. Friendly staff. Nice facilities, and every few years they upgrade / remodel areas. Great food at reasonable pricing, with generous portions of main menu items. We both dine in and, if on the go, do take out. Egg rolls have shrunken; however, seems to be the norm for all chinese places these days. Still is the best place found to get sesame seed chicken.

I have been going to this Chinese restaurant called Kings bowl for the past 15 plus years of my adult life and adolescent also. And it is just as amazing as Golden wok Chinese. I highly recommend it.

My mom warned me but I wanted to give it a shot.. Probably the poorest quality meat I've ever had; I dont know how much chicken I actually ate or if it was all fat & ligaments. That and underwhelming flavor made me give up halfway through and throw it out.

Have been coming here close to year. Went outside my comfort zone and had kung pao chicken today, no regrets. They serve to feed an army. It's always fresh and the service is beyond measure whether dine in or drive thru. Love these guys!

This place is fantastic! On the left is the veggie lo mein and on the right is the general tso's chicken with egg fried rice. The portions are so huge! Totally recommend the veggie lo mein, hot & sour soup. That stuff is great!

Food was great and the service was wonderful! Hit the spot for my Chinese craving. I wanted to eat something that wasn’t fast food and had a nice dining experience and this was the perfect choice! The staff was polite and the food came fairly quickly! I highly suggest you give Kings Bowl a shot. You won’t be disappointed

Love coming to King's Bowl! We live just down the road so we treat ourselves to Chinese food from time to time; the drive thru is very convenient. The food has great flavor and big portions. The staff are always friendly and even give recommendations when we're looking to try something new.

The service was great. My server was really sweet, soft spoken, but very helpful. I ordered a few things from the menu but my favorite was the "House Fried Rice"

Best Homemade Chinese food around. Been coming here for a long time now and i can say its always fresh and taste is great. I myself am a chef so i can taste the quality of the food..staff is great and for anyone who says otherwise dosent know quality food when served. This was some of the best Chinese food I have ever had. Every part of every dish was overflowing with flavor, and the service was outstanding. And I'm not sure what was the secret ingredient, but it was also the best sweet tea I have found.

Chicken was super dry and chewy. They forgot my soup and my kids Chicken fried rice smelled sour like it was spoiled. Egg rolls were also sour. The dumplings were really the only thing we liked.

Everything about Kings Bowl was great. The seating area and the whole environment was excellent. Food was exceptional and the service was sincere. Wonderful experience

Very small restaurant but the food was excellent. I got mine to go. I also included a bubble tea. The tea was fantastic. I got noodles with my chicken and the noodles were also fantastic. Go here whenever I need a quick chinese fix. The food is good and the people are friendly and are fast with the service. They even went to HEB to buy green beans to make my meal. Wonderful service.

This restaurant is delightful and a calming repose during a hectic work day. It's very clean with a charming decor, attentive staff, very good sweet tea, perfectly cooked veggies (lots of vegetarian and healthy options), reasonable prices, and a good location.I will certainly eat here again! :D

Just tried this place tonight I got the lemon chicken dinner with lomein, crab Rangoon and egg drop soup came with the dinner and also the steamed dumplings. Everything was absolutely delicious and the gentlemen that made my food was so friendly and welcoming. I ordered on the phone and picked up in drive thru will definitely be going back and would recommend to my friends and family for sure

Mongolian beef very good, hot n sour soup too venigery, shrimp chop suey good. Fried rice okay, I can taste low grade rice bought in bulk. I'll eat it again tho.

The food wasn't good, the lobster shrimps was way too salty that came with only 6 shrimps and came with frozen peas& carrot... The fried rice didn't have favor and not taste right. The lemon chicken itself was decent. But the place is very clean and service is friendly.

Not sure how I didn't already rate this place, but this is seriously my favorite Chinese food restaurant in the city, and I don't say that lightly. Been coming here for years, and they always get it right. Hot, fresh, delicious. Lunch specials are great with generous portions, but if you want to EAT, "a la carte" gives you that option. Friendly service from all staff. We constantly order to go, but when we're able, love to dine in. We have tried a good portion of the menu so far, but we have favorites! The restaurant is clean and well organized, comfortable seating, and TVs in the dining area when you want to hang out and relax. Service is always prompt and kind. Bubble tea is delicious too! Solid food, clean place, and good people.

It's been a while since I went there. I went at lunch time and was disappointed in the quality of the Mongolian Beef as well as the size of the portion. I went after their lunch special and paid the dinner portion price, so it wasn't because it was a lunch special.

After searching for the perfect chinese place, my husband and I have finally found it! I am quite picky when it comes to orange chicken. I have tried many different places and it was always either bland or too spicy or just plain bad. This place is fantastic, not only is it delicious but I feel that you really get a lot of food for a good price. The egg drop soup is phenomenal as was the egg rolls. I also love their boba tea. This place has it all and it has since become my go to place when I'm craving orange chicken.

Last night was our first time eating here and was very impressed, the restaurant was very clean and the service was excellent. We had the lemon chicken and sweet and sour chicken and it was so delicious! We are definitely going back for more.
